Richard Broderick graduated from UW-Oshkosh with a Bachelor of Science. He served in the United States Army and received an Honorable Discharge in 1988. He attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School and graduated with a Juris Doctor in 1994. He was admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois in May, 1994 and has been practicing law for 12 years. 

Having experience as both a sole practitioner and as a member of a firm, he finds that being a sole practitioner affords him the opportunity to have more direct contact with clients, creating a more personalized experience. 

He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Illinois Bar Association
